beverley turner rant on Channel 5

just channel hopping before going out this morning, and I saw beverly turner on channel 5`s "The Wright Stuff" in a segment called Women in sport. She was Slating Formula One big time saying comments like "I was talking to two guys from Mclaren last year, They said there would be no women in Formula One because their not pretty enough"!!! plus when one caller said she thought all of the F1 Guys really good looking she snapped back "No their not, they ugly and all under 5`6". opps I guess she`s still bitter for being sacked from ITV, But why have a go at F1 and not ITV? The programme has Vicki-Butler Henderson on tomorrow. Should have had her on today she know a hell of a lot more than Turner!!

She's trying to push her 'book' so want's to create plenty of noise, which may shift a few more copies in the short, term but unlikely to be a good 'career move' long term.

I don't think Beverley needs to be too worried about career moves.

She always makes money from modelling and corporate work - and sexists may note she has a rich husband!

What about Fanny Duchateau and Barbara Armstrong??. There's always Giovanna Amati (Brabham F1 driver in the early 90's). That's enough anorak for one day. EB

She was pregnant if I remember rightly, so she would claim to being on a maternity break.

She probably jumped before she was pushed, although her book, according to reviews, does seem to be rather bitter. She also acknowledges none of the ITV crew in her book.

Settle, guys. The truth is their are no good-looking Pommy sorts to be found anyway. Well, maybe Liz Hurley but would you let her drive your car?

Saw Bev on C5 show, her new hairdo doesn't suit her, she used to be quite attractive.

If BT wanted to be taken seriously she should have acted it instead of poncing around at Black Tie dinners giving us an 'insight' into the Lifestyles behind the sport. I don't care what the rich and privilaged of motorsport wear.

You can still drown in shallowness.

They're already holding the signage boards for the drivers. That's enough for me, no need putting them in the cars.
