Good title change... Whoever.
I really can't pick a winner here, there's been no previous rounds! |

The reign in Bahrain never falls on the plain.....so no wet tyres needed.

my prediction would be the WP cars and the FPR cars but no idea as yet which driver as there has been no previous rounds there, although Todd Kelly and Garth Tander have done a race there although as GT said on the podium it's just like doing a few laps in a road car so all is up in the air for Bahrain.
although Lowndes is leaving tommorow to get climatised over there, good idea could help hgim on race day IMO. |

On current form and given that he has infact driven around the track one would have to think that Garth Tander would have to be a contender

Brighty may be alright and I hope CL does well, but somehow I don't think he will get the lead back this time. Last edited by marcus; 24 Nov 2006 at 07:36. |

Mark Skaife will win, of course!
P.S. I would have made it "Who will spray the champagne in Bahrain?" This one is just as good. |

Bahrain appears to be a power circuit with fast sweepers. It looks like the circuit would suit the TOLL/HSV cars more than the a Lowndes/888 cars. HRT and FPV should do well there as well.

Long sweepers will suit any of the top runners ... me thinks it will be a very open affair. |

I think it will be Lowndes, for sure. Unless Skaife can get his car going, because I'm sure as one of the most experienced guys out there he will be able to adapt better and come to terms with Bahrain better.
So when to the planes leave for Bahrain, anyone know? Last edited by marcus; 24 Nov 2006 at 07:37. |

I think the track will be quite similar to China so unfortunately I think it will be a Holden track so I think Garth will be fast & FPR will be the fastest Fords again but I hope I'm wrong & Lowndes can climb back.

FPR are strongest around Fast sweepers... FPR have the best cornering car.
HSVDT and HRT have the most horsepower. |

im not convinced Holden weer as good as some people are saying at china
definatly they hit the better setup early but marcos set the quickiest lap in the final race. and if you remeber he was penalised in a pass for the lead (ok it was in the pits, but he was all over them to that point) and russell was also taken out by skaife whe nhe was running strong lowndes qualified 2nd Rick qualified last ( both had shocking races) Just dont think we should write of the fords |
