I cannot believe my eyes! Look closely in the background, the secret to Jeffy's success has been caught in this photo at an early age. Up against the fence are the two trick tires for his last pit stop. Jack Roush was on to something with his doctored tire theory.

Good point Joe Fan, and they look like pneumatic tires to! Solid rubber! I bet he could get a lot of mileage outta those without a pitstop!

When most 5 year olds are using training wheels, Jeff Gordon was driving, and less than 20 years later he was a Winston Cup Champion. Can you say that?

I absolutely LOVE that picture of Jeff...What a handsome kid !!
I think my favorite one is when he was told to give the girl a kiss who presented him a trophy, but just couldn't... She was twice the size of him.. That was part of the video when he won his first championship. |
