Sete
Was it just me or did you all how Sete looked extremely ****ed off when they crossed to him at the press conference after the race.He quickly composed himself but didn't look like a happy camper when the producer panned to Sete.
Edwards was very entertaining, whoever ****ed him off should keep on doin' it.hehehehe Good to see another Yamaha on the podium. |

Sete must indeed be hacked off. No matter what he comes up with and he does come up with some fabulous stuff, Rossi pretty much has an answer each and every time. Being in someone's shadow when you're that good - terrible. Sete must be going through hell. No wonder Rossi celebrates so hard.

Yeah, if I was Sete I too would be very annoyed with the current situation. Still next up is Mugello which should suit the Honda's in favour of the Yamaha's as it is a high speed circuit. I guess we will find out at Mugello just how much quicker the Honda's are top end over the Yamah's, if any.

Damn right AJ! He must have thought he was at a Gurning contest for a moment there - he looked like that cartoon muppet thing called Beaker! Not a pretty face.

all the same, it was a great ride by sete after a bad start & it seems that his attitude is that he believes he can still beat rossi which is good - he aint completely broken... yet

It's always something with Sete isn't it?
First in the shadows of Mick, then Kenny Jr., now Rossi... Must be tough... |

Indeed it must be tough, but I wonder if the outcome may be differnt at Mugello. The track will suit the Honda's with its high speed nature, and as everyone keeps saying the Honda's are sooooo much faster than the Yamaha's top end speed wise so it will be interesting to see how much truth is in these comments in the speed traps. Maybe Sete can beat Rossi and get win #1, well beat Rossi at Mugello anyway. Or Monza if they ever visit the track.

I do feel sorry for Sete because there is no doubt that he's the best rider in the field bar Rossi. It's just that Rossi is head, shoulders and torso above him and the rest...

What about Junior? The lsat man to beat Mich Doohan in a straight fight...
I reckon if you put Junior on a Honda you'd see how good he is. Instead of being like his father he's turned out like Barry Sheene with all the same luck and none of the injuries... |

Sete was stronger than Junior on the tyre chewing Suzuki I reckon. Junior would be quick for a few laps and go backwards while Sete would end up half a minute ahead... Junior seems fast when everything is perfect and otherwise he is ordinary.

Sete is my favourite rider always has been, and IMO has only been the real challenger to Rossi and beaten him consitently.
He's had a lot of nad luck, with not winning at Jerez after he nearly got taken out by Rossi on the last corner of the last lap and also Estoril when he had a clear lead but slid out at the first turn when the rain started to come down, and that was teh disadvantage of leading as you have no one to follow and see what the track is like leading into the corner. |
