Just a big thank you at the start of another hillclimb season.
We always wave on the way down and chat when we can ,but we really do appreciate all you do. Without you we wouldn't be there. But I suppose without us you wouldn't be there! You are appreciated. Lister |

That's very kind of you. We tend to think of hillclimbing as one of the friendliest areas of the sport, and we look forward to meeting you at one of the Midland events? If you see a group of marshals with beer, feel free to join them, you'll probably find half of them will be members of this site.

I do nearly all the Loton,Prescott and Shelsley events and the occassional Wiscombe.
I drive the ex Peter Voigt,ex Russ Ward 1969 Ginetta G17 single seater. If you are at any of the events I would like to meet and say hello. Lister |

We shall be at the easter Loton parked just up from the bar.....best place to be......

Beer tent
Used to do quite a lot of sprints mostly Curborough and Mira but also airfields in Essex.Debden,Wethersfield and North Weald but got confused by all the cones!
Have also done quite a few Harewoods including the school. I will look out for you all on the hills to have a beer-After the event!! Lister |

I recognise the car from your description, so you can expect an extra special wave from us in future. At Shelsley the marshals gather around the farmyard, and at Prescott at Dickie's Memorial Erection, so feel free to join us anytime for a beer.

Just to clarify Woolley`s last post the Dickie Twist Memorial erection is in the Marshal`s Pound which is just past the bridge on the right hand side.
