Thank you Marshalls

Just a big thank you at the start of another hillclimb season.
We always wave on the way down and chat when we can ,but we really do appreciate all you do.
Without you we wouldn't be there.
But I suppose without us you wouldn't be there!
You are appreciated.

That's very kind of you. We tend to think of hillclimbing as one of the friendliest areas of the sport, and we look forward to meeting you at one of the Midland events? If you see a group of marshals with beer, feel free to join them, you'll probably find half of them will be members of this site.

Have a good season.

If you ever want to do a sprint, please contact BARC Midlands, you sound just the sort of person we love at our sprints.

Thanks for your kind comments to marshals in general - very much appreciated.

Hi Lister, many thanks for your comments. As Woolley says you will probably see a few of us off here at all the venues you listed and indeed we will be wandering around beer in hand at some stage during the proceedings.

Look forward to meeting you

Beer tent

Used to do quite a lot of sprints mostly Curborough and Mira but also airfields in Essex.Debden,Wethersfield and North Weald but got confused by all the cones!
Have also done quite a few Harewoods including the school.
I will look out for you all on the hills to have a beer-After the event!!

Have you ever sprinted at Hethel? There are cones there as well - thanks mainly to Neville Moon.

I recognise the car from your description, so you can expect an extra special wave from us in future. At Shelsley the marshals gather around the farmyard, and at Prescott at Dickie's Memorial Erection, so feel free to join us anytime for a beer.
