mk2 Astra GTE 16v Suspension Setup
I'm trying to setup an Astra GTE 16v for the track. At the moment it mor or less resembles the car that John Cleland drove back all those years ago. I'm having troble with the suspension tho, this is what I am planning so far:
Front: Solid top mounts with ballbearing races. Pilbeam legs which are strengthened 300 - 400lbs 10-8" springs, 2½" Standard lower arms Poly bushes where necessary. Pilbeam steering arms. Uprated anti-roll bar. Possibly rose-jointed tension struts. Rear: Turreted. Coilovers, gas adjustable. 700-800lbs 2½" springs, not sure on length. Rose-jointed beam Strengthening plates added to rear beam. One this I am stuck on is the damper ratings front and back body sizes and stroke. Any help would be much appreciated, cheers!! |
