Ham with some fast laps and strong defence but Chuck in the end for me. Unexpected.

Oscar - nailed the start and managed the race from then on. For sure the team made it harder in the last stint and Lando looked like he was a little quicker out in front but ultimately, a very well-deserved win to the young man from Melbourne.

Lando. Got pole and though he didn't get such a good start, found himself in a situation not of his own making and did what was best for the team.

Lando - the moral winner as far as I'm concerned - who handled a difficult situation with a lot more grace than I could have mustered.

Lando: in a way it’s a sympathy vote from me. Giving up the win must have hurt so much.

It could have been a number of drivers who all wrote a good race, George, Oscar, Lando, Checo, Lewis, or Lance, but I gave it to Oscar.
He won the start which was critical judging from Lando's comment both to lead and perhaps something in McLarens race plan, but we don't really know. |

Lando, definitely. He showed what a racing driver should do, pole and race winner. He won that race, not Oscar.

Probably Oscar on merit, but in the end voted for Sergio with kudos to Tsunoda, both who just got on with it. A lot of egos I found disappointing. But im old and traditional.

I almost voted for Checo too. Followed George all the way to the first stop and when it came time to get new tyres the team had him undercut George successfully, then hold his own till the end. A lot less drama than Max.

There are lots that I Cant vote for: Piastri for being gifted the win, Norris for the drama, Verstappen for reminding us who he really is.
So, Hamilton for maximising his cars performance gets my vote this time. |

This was an interesting one. I note how many go the purist route and feel Lando was robbed. The thing is, this is a team game and you can not ban team orders. It has been tried and it does not work. McLaren could have pitted in a different order, and that's probably why they are still learning how to run at the front. They could have did strategy a different way and net had the conversation. But, Lando did show he is not a pushover, he showed he is quick and can win. He also showed he is a team player, but that he want to question why they do things. A championship winning team does that a bit smoother, but it was a reasonable conversation. I actually think both Lando and Oscar sounded reasonably calm about it.
Now, for my vote I give a shout out to both Ferrari drivers for a decent run when they did not have the best situation. Well with for Perez and Russel for getting up there. For sure, they should not have to do it. Perez least of all. I voted Lewis this time, for his wild speed on the hards, even though it wasn't maybe the most sensible, and his fights on track. Those fights really was something. But, what really nailed it for me was when he was involved in what was clearly a mess where the other driver was at fault, he graciously called it a "racing incident" and convinced the stewards of it. That's magnanimous and generous, and a sign of character. Lewis Hamilton gets my vote today. |

I agree totally about Lewis and perhaps I should have voted for him. Unfortunately I already voted for Lando for being robbed. |

My boy Oscar Piastri of course. he would’ve won easily if they pitted him first.

Not in the slightest. Well deserved. I would normally vote DOTR for a first time GP winner but on this occasion it was very clear that Lando was quicker and despite losing out at the start would probably have won the race in a straight fight.
