My personal fave of that list is the 550, it envokes memories of the 250 GTO which is surely the best looking and sounding Ferrari ever!

the new as of this week is the 612- loks like a bloated 575 i am not sure where it stands in the line of models but it is a porkie looking thing
the 360 soon to be 400 is the best since the 355 ithink the F cars are very weird to me, with wings and odd bits all over |

550... too bad the engine's in the wrong place, but I like it.

The 612 (if that is to be its name) will replace the ageing 456, so it's the big four seat GT of the line-up, hence the portly dimensions.
For me the best looker is the 550 Maranello. It blew me away when it was launched, it blew me away when I saw my first one in the flesh, and it blew me away when I drove one (alright, round a carpark in first, but it counts ok!? ) And evo, I'm a Ferrari traditionalist - the engine in the 550 is most definitely in the right place! |

how is the 550 and the 575 different-really?
displacement, a trim piece here and there, and a larger scoop? |

The 355 does it for me . The cleanest styled mid engine Ferrari for a long time . Thought the 456 was a nice looking Ferrari as well .

So you've not thought about it much then, Guy...
The 550 does look good in metallic grey, and dark blue. But I have to say it looks fantastic in red! Maybe my imagination isn't what it should be... |

Hmm aren't the 550 & 575 pretty much interchangeable and as Rusty Oz said : what about the 355 - just because Clarkson said it had aged does not mean it is not still far prettier than several in the list above - I look forward to seeing the 612 in the flesh but for now it seems rather like a TVR

Umm, the main contenders are definitely the 550, F40 and F355. I like the (Prodrive) 550 race car, but the road version isn't quite as neat as the F40. And the F355 isn't on the poll, so.....the winner is the F40!
But I'll probably want to change that tomorrow. Any one of them would do really! |

But the pictures do have a certain similarity to a kind of big Tuscan ... although I hadn't spotted that until jos pointed it out.
Thanks jos. Maybe Jezza was right - you can't have a truly great designer called Ken. |

If I have any one Ferrari of those listed it would be the 550 Maranello. Stunning in red, all business in silver.

Hmm...tough choice. 360 or 355 for me. But then I still prefer the old 288GTO.

No road going Ferrari has ever looked as good as the original 246 Dino, IMO. It is a true icon that every mid engined Ferrari up to the 360 took its design cues from.
