C R Box should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Holden HSV Malloo

Saw an unusual car yesterday. It appeared to be a performance orientated, pick-up conversion of a Vauxhall Omega.
It was badged an HSV Malloo and the pick up was Chevrolet El Camino styled.
Can any of our Aussie friends enlighten us about it.
i.e.
Is it current, how much, and what sort of performance does it offer. Also is it a usable pick up?

The Malloo is the UK version of the Holden 'ute'. Its based on the Commodore thats sold over here from HSVUK. Its got a Cheverolet 5.7 V8 & of it goes anything like the Commodore, then its VERY quick

Yeah, its HSV's version of the Holden Ute. Basically its got a body kit, suspension mods, interior mods, some engine mods (I think) etc, etc

There are actually two versions, the Maloo and the Maloo R8, which is the quicker version.

Here is a link (hope it works)
