CAMS Track Licences - re-visited

A little bird informs me that whilst CAMS have issued press releases in relation to both Queensland Raceway and Winton Motor Raceway taking out 2004 Track Licences from CAMS, it appears that CAMS have forgotten to inform Winton Motor Raceway of this fact - all they have done so far, from the information supplied to me, is issue the press release - they haven't actually gone back to the raceway to say 'Yes - we agree to your terms'.

Matthew - any comment from the track on this plase?

News to me steve

CAMS has to provide Winton with some information and Winton has to provide CAMS with some information. Both Parties have agreed to a process and are operating to this process. CAMS press release tells CAMS side of the story as you would expect and Winton's would do the same. There are two sides to every story. There has been preliminary discussion as to the formation of a long term contract between the two organisations (possibly 5 years). Yes CAMS have agreed on some points that the licences should be altered and Winton have agreed to accept parts of the licences after clarification. The Track licences is current at Winton for CAMS, AASA & Motorcycling Australia.
