2016 American Open Wheel Series Thread
So now that I am pretty much done with NASCAR, I need to seriously try to follow some real circle track racing. Mods, if we need to move to National Single Seater Series Forum, please do. I think it would get more traffic here.
So USAC is still around right? I'd like to watch more winged sprint cars, midgets and all. Dirt and paved. The Chili Bowl has come and gone, I think, and the only news I heard was Smoke got into it with a drunken cop. Knoxville Nationals are always big. What else? I am a Southeasterner that is sophomoric about midgets and sprint cars, but I want to know more. |

Short track racing promoters have done a poor job to get decent television coverage. Other than MavTv and Lucas Oil Racing.com, there's nothing to be found.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series 2016 Schedule
http://www.woosprint.com/schedule 85 races by my count for the "Greatest Show on Dirt", 13 in July Two trips to Knoxville, one for the Nationals, a race on my bucket list. Closest they come to me is Charlotte and FLA. Lots of mid-west, west and northeast action here. I'll try to catch as much as I can on something. |

...but please, try to tell the local track promoters what to do all the way from South America, I'm sure they'd love to hear it. |

In Uruguay, circuit racing airs live nationwide on television. Yes it's a small country, but anyway.
And we have a spec Mercedes-Benz championship. (Minimum wage is US$ 400. Fuel costs US$ 1,40 per liter.) |
