Since nobody seems to know if and where we're going to be able to watch F1 in the US, I did some research:
For March 3, at 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. (US Central), ESPN has programmed College Basketball, and ESPN2 has NHL Hockey. These are pretty unavoidable commitments. This means that if the F1 contract is awarded to ABC-ESPN, we will not see the races live. Speedvision, on the other hand, has open slots (TBA) for the times for F1 qualifying on Friday night, and for race time on Saturday night. This tells me they are still hoping to get the contract, and we can still be optimistic. |
