Hugh Chamberlain
Did anyone else hear about Hugh leaving Chamberlain motorsports?
I heard somewhere that he had set up a new firm and will enter a pair of Nissan Skylines in next years British GT championsio and a couple of vipers in the FIA championship. Anyone else have more details? I suppose this means he won't be running the MG effort at Le Mans next year. |

The Skylines are being run by Teledata racing aren't they? I thought that was run by the Atkinson brothers or am I wildly off the mark?

You are correct with the team name, Simon, but I believe they have hired Hugh as team manager or similar... unless he's decided to buy the team ? Who knows... it's all very odd!

My understanding is the team, now being called CMS is running the MG at Le Mans, and has some other high profile projects, whilst Hugh has gone off to do his own thing, which possibly includes running the Skylines.

So no Hugh at Le Mans?
I always thought the Radio Le Mans interviews with Hugh were the highlights of the commentary..... |

So did I, Aysedasi, so did I.
Let's hope they enter the Vipers next year at least... |

Dunno who owns them, but the new team is apprently entering them in FIA GT so there shouldn't be a problem for him to do Le Mans with them if the sponsors/owners are keen...

If he doesn't own the Vipers anymore, entering them at Le Mans will be difficult for him...
