German F3

A friend is racing in the german f3 this weekend at the nurberguring...

anyone know of an english web site to cover the series with live timing preferably..

I guess nurbergring is a better option than oulton this weekend..!!

You cant get it on sky digital (unless Motors TV cover it ) DSF is on the old analouge system. really good coverage just turn the sound down abit!

Unreal

Formula 3 in Germany seems to be getting better and better with very good new drivers coming to the series and getting fit in the competition, but.... Joao Paulo de Oliveira...that`s unreal...he starts, in the first lap is already 2 secs ahead and wins with a clear 20 secs...that`s more than one a lap. And this has happened 6 times in a row. What`s that?
Does anyone know if this guy is going to the masters or doing something else this year?

It´s his 3rd year in German F-3.

Here in Brazil he impressed when made a 2nd place in Sudam F-3 in 2000 with almost no money backing.

While brazilian media stars at Piquet Jr, Joao Paulo is making his way... but I don´t know if the German F3 is so seen in the F-1 Paddock... if so, I bet he is the man.

In Lausitzring when F3 was supporting the champcar race JP was very much together with Emerson. I think there could be something between them, but who knows???... I hope Emmo is giving him a try in the champcar, no doubt he will be impressed

If you are after a website for German F3, go to www.google.com then search www.formel3.de and translate the site. It's not perfect, but is easier to read than when in German!
