I would say the 2001.
Better chassis. Better engine. Better driver. It was designed by Gustav Brunner mind you. |

2002 is better.
Its better looking, handles better and has better drivers. Even the ITV crew said that this years chassis is great, but lacks engine power. |

The best Minardi ever was either the:
1989 Minardi (Great little car in hands of Martini) 1993 Minardi (Best ever constructors finish) 1999 Minardi (If not for lack of power.......) |

Best Minardi out of those two would be the 2001 car - aerodynamically great, low-set, nifty to drive, just lacking in horsepower. Oh, and a certain Spanish bloke was driving one of them. Magic.
This year's isn't too bad though, and of course Webber is top stuff. The best from recent years though would be the 1999 car - 15th on the grid for Gene at Hockenheim, Badoer almost scoring 3 times, and of course Gene's magnificent point at the Nurburgring. Oh, those were the days... |

Sad so it may seem, as I sort of work for them.
The question should have been what is the WORST Minardi. The new car has 2 WC points, so must be among the least worse ? SL |

Manoz, the funny thing about the '99 Ferrari, is that despite being DRASTICALLY underpowered, Badoer put it 15th on the grid at Hockenheim . And then came Europe '99
