Were you watching the same race? It seemed quite good from what I saw.

I enjoyed the F4 races at Silverstone (in addition to those at Snetterton a couple of weeks ago). I'm looking forward to this - regardless of the racing, it'll be my first trip to Oulton for a couple of years.

Have to agree with MM; the F4s were very processional with little overtaking going on. Even at 'classic' overtaking points like Lodge there was very little passing.

Such a shame that another 'junior formulae' has been developed with little opportunity for place changing. Makes a mockery of the reverse grid format really if you can't overtake?

I guess that's what makes it the ideal training ground for aspiring F1 drivers.

Enjoyable day at island/foulstons. Just the one radical in the wall and a couple of spinners. Well done and thanks to all for bearing the hot day in no shade! Formula 4 seemed very close by us, albeit in one long line!

Well there was a lot of 'holding our breath' on several occasions at Knicker Out, but they all seemed to sort themselves out. Sir Chris Hoy was mighty doing all sorts of overtaking moves where we were. Fair play to him.

Thanks to Andy PC, Mason & all the team for a good day though.

Agree, fantastic day flagging at Knicker out! Apparently a great spot for blue flagging which I didn't expect! Though there were a couple of drivers who saw the blue flag as a good chance to hit the other guy, as stated above they did sort themselves out... eventually!
