Joe Fan should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridJoe Fan should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
The poor guy wins his first race in 460+ races and the biggest one at that, the Daytona 500, and the legend of a man who was responsible for giving him his ride is killed in the very same race. Life is unfair! I really feel for him as this should be one of the happiest times in his life. I hope that he wins another one soon free from tragedy so that he can enjoy one.

despite the tragedy that occured and I dont want to sound rude in anyway at all..Michael waltrip drove a fantastic race and thoroughly deserved his victory..I was chearing him on through the last 15 laps or so just as DW was up in the booth and to see the elation on Michaels face and on Darrells face was trully fantastic to see..they were not to know of the events that unfolded behind Michael on the track.

for thoose few minutes that they had before learning of the accident it was awe inspiring ..but yet even though his brother had just won the Daytona 500 DW was still concerned about Dale and had the presence of mind to pray for him as we all were when we realized how bad it was.

But well done to Michael and i hope he gets the chance to win more races this year as he so trully deserves to.

Lee should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I don't really know if there words to describe how bad Michael Waltrip must feel. They interviewed him, and you could tell that he didn't know, had not been told about what had happened. The feeling of going from highest elation, to the lowest depths of dispare, the complete range opposite ends of the emotional spectrum must be nearly impossible for him to bare.
