I think my best chance is to start racing at the green flag! ;-)

The entry list contains: Andy Rouse, Gerry Marshall, Jackie Oliver, Aaron Slight, Mark Lemmer, Tony Dron, and others - in Camaro's, Astons, Mustangs et al. I'm going to get MULLERED. However, I just want a timesheet with my name on it, which will make it all worthwhile! ;-)

Cheers

Stacy

Yes, the legend will be there apparently. Anyone wishing to say hello is more than welcome, suspect my car will be difficult to miss in the paddock..

Good luck Stacy. Wave the CTRC flag for us then. BTW. Does that mean I could get an entry for another round? If so where can I get the deets. I might have a timetable for my job soon.

I've just got back from Oulton. Anybody who didn't go today (Saturday) has missed one of the best days' racing I've seen for a long time; for those of us marshalling at Island, each of the five races was superb - sometimes terrifying, sometimes hilarious, but always entertaining!

Let's hope Sunday's as good - in fact let's hope the Porsche, FF, Legends & Historic teams manage to get enough cars rebuilt to make it worthwhile running the races!

Blimey.

I noticed Stacy DNF'd on the MST site. I hope he's ok. They don't seem to be showing the results of today's events at the mo. Did he make it for the second race?

He did indeed finish today's race and I believe also class winner and a brilliant race it was too.
Now why can't we have the historics at every BTCC meeting...

The sight of an Aston Martin V8 coming along the straight towards Lodge with a huge Egg Sport banner plastered across the front is one that will stay with me forever As probably will the sound of a Mini that's decided exhausts are surplus to requirements

After the feature race I'd managed to forget all about the Egg Sport banner on the Aston. That really was hilarious and didn't it just give the commentators lots of opportunity for fun with Bacon and Mustard in the same race!!!

The antics of the rest of the field in avoiding the Mini exhaust at Hill Top were amusing when viewed from Island!
