427 in WA
The Bob Jane Camaro has disappeared from the Bathurst Museum for display in WA - anyone know whats the go - maybe the Fremantle or York Museums that house the Peter Briggs collection. For all you V8 Supercar fans over there, find it & have a look, its a peice of art - 72 & 73 title winner.
Maybe they'll take it out to Wanneroo, sorry Alf, Barbagallo Raceway for a squirt. |

The Camaro is going west for the opening of a new T-Marts then to the Touring Car Festival at Oran Park in January and then (maybe) back to Bathurst if there are no other T-Marts commitments.

As well as the Camaro, i know Bob Jane still has other things like the #20 Cortina, a March Indycar (1985 Indy500 polesitter), what other cars are still in his collection?

Bob still has the Jag, the McLaren, the Schnitzer 635, the Brabham, yes the Indy car, the Camaro, building a replica of his first Mustang (the Catalina Wreck car) several historic NASCAR's, Rodney's first AUSCAR, Rodney's last Monte Carlo NASCAR. Apparently has absolutley no interest in the Torana Sports Sedan and is in constant contact with Tino should he ever want to sell the Monaro! Also heard he has appointed a "Heritage Manager" to get everything up and running!!

Bob, get those cars out of those containers & run twilight meets, starting at 4, finishing at 9 under chequers not yellows. Get the likes of Jimmy, the Wanless boys, Rod & Kim, and lets go Thunderdoming again. Stevie Richards & Jason Bright have ovals experience, even the Dude .. The Pontiac Jim Richards raced in Japan was owned, at the time, by American Dick Midgley.
