Got to be one of the strongest entrylists in the history of the ERC if not the strongest. Four new Fiesta ST's Gronholm, Simonen (good to see him back), Koutny, and the fantastic Mr Opland, plus Hedstroms first ERC runout.

Barrie, I am surprised this thread hasnt generated any interest. I agree with you, this has got to be one of the strongest entry's ever. How would you compare it to that infamous fog bound entry which promised so much but was hampered so much by the weather?? Is it the number of potential winners or the number of people likely to get into the finals ie. top 16?? Or is it a different perspective??? Number of quality/prominent drivers/carsetc.........................

Yea! I hope so to!! Don’t think Jokinen will miss his home?!? ERC. Börseth hopes he will get the last parts for his Focus on Monday and if the tests on Lånke goes well he will be there. Don’t know about the Russians? And Koutny have been entered for several races but not showed up? So far only 3 Irish lads have withdrawn . I really hope that Eriksson will have the Solberg Fiesta ready for Opland! He is a very nice guy and a great Rally crosser!

But Rallycross are not just the hunt for the A, B or the C finals. Bo Fredriksen has done more ERC races than anyone. Bo and his purple Escort have been all over Europe. It seems like Bo are stepping up this year. Bo has entered a Ford Puma T16 4x4 at Höljes. RX Guru, Do you know if it is the ex Bruno Hansen Puma?

The Puma that Bo Frederiksen will drive is not the Bruno Hansen car, but the ex. Kasper Aaskov car originally build by Finn Jespersen (father of Morten Jespersen). I don't know if the car is ready for Höljes.

Opland has redrawn his entry. Pitty, I would have liked to see him race again, very entertaining driver that never held back.

Borseth will not get the parts to complete the Focus, but rejoy! He will drive Helga II in the event!!

Koutny's Fiesta is ready, and looks as if he will be up there with the big boys again.



Jos Kuypers will not go to Sweden.

Eivind Opland has withdrawn as the Solberg Fiesta is not ready yet and Marcus’ Fiesta will be used by himself. But it is said that Solberg will offer his buddy-buddy Opland another chance, possibly at Buxtehude. The organiser Finnskoga MK hopes to attract 25,000+ people this year, due to the participation of Grönholm, the current spectator record is 21,500+ paying people.

There are two or three pics in the gallery at ERC24 yet showing the car at the scrutineering bay at Höljes.
