I always thought that Quarry Corner was best. Follow the signs for the skid pan/karts and park in the first car park. There's always plenty to see and the view around the track is good as well.

Yes Quarry is good spot for overtaking moves but now does have debris fence.
Tower corner is also good viewing (very close to track and no debris fence except for 50 metres on the entry. If watching at Tower follow signs to main entrance once through gate turn right and follw perimeter road to Tower. PS If watching at Quarry get there early as can get very crowded. |

When the F3 boys are practicing on Sat. stand at the top of Avon Rise, just before Quarry and watch them handle the bumps at 150mph + You get a really good view of them all the way frm Camp which is over a third of the circuit. It will be mobbed there on Sun. so take the opportunity whilst a little less crowded on Sat. Hvaing said that it is worth walking the whole perimeter on Sat. to get a feel for the best circuit in Britain.

Yesterday was my first visit to Combe, I think Lydden is now the only English circuit I've yet to visit. I can definitely say that it won't be my last visit. Apart from the weather it was a cracking day out.

Castle Comber was superb from the very pretty village to the circuit. We walked it on Saturday and found loads of places to watch from and decided on the first and last corners (Quarry and Camp).
I sat and watched the GT race from Camp as that was nearest to the paddock and then moved over to Quarry. Pity about the rain - got drenched and cold but today made up for it - went round the circuit in the #77 Porsche GT3 - flipping heck that is quick Definetly a CC convert - need to go there again - lovely place. |
