Best General Admission "spot" at Canadian GP

Hi all,

I will be going to this year Canadian GP with a General Admission ticket.

What would be the "best" spots to watch the race ??

Any tips would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks

Hi idrive. I have never been to the Canadian GP so I do not know for sure. I had a look about but all i can find about the best place to be is at the hairpin L'Epingle. There is a few grandstands around that area but as for general addmision i do not know. If you go to www.pageandmoy.com and request a brochure you will find that it has good diagrams of the circuit with colour coded bits of where the general addmision tickets can enter. I do not know if they are sent outside of the U.K though. Hope this is of some help and good luck. It might be worth trying again nearer the time.

Year's back, when I used to waste my money going to see these things live, they would let you stand at the hairpin. but I think now that's reserved for grandstand people only.

They used to also have a Wednesday walkthrough, where the pits were basically open so you could see all the cars, but I dunno if they still do this.
