V8 Yearbook

Stumbled across this one on the V8 website...

It seems as though there will be a V8 supercar yearbook this year, more info on http://www.sammedia.com.au/

About time too. Thanks for the Link and info CT. I think I ordered 'LAST years' book via Chevron publishing but was informed after a long wait that it was not going ahead. An avesco job I think. Pity it got canned so lets hope this one manages to go ahead. Cheers.

Wonder how much they are going to slug us for that one . Also , what happens to The Great Race annual . Would be sensible to combine the two , but that would not make AVESCO as much money , would it .

Chevron produce the Great Race annual and there are no plans to interrupt its sequence of titles. But in case you've never seen it, they are unable to include anything after Bathurst (Indy, Symmons and EC part 2 this year)

That leaves an opportunity for the boys at SAM Media to do an book on the ENTIRE season, one that we can flick through for years. I've already had an email from one of the boys at SAM and I'd say their attempt is more likely to get off the ground. Chevron would be far too busy to do both...

And given Mark Horsburgh is one of the photographers involved in the project, it's bound to be full of great pics!

I have all the AMRY and The Great Race books as well and my nephew has his eyes on them as he is a petrol head like me and having no kids he knows that he will get them anyway.

I also have the series of books just called Bathurst'82-89 and the one book on the ATCRA 1988 I buy anything that comes out...

and yes the 2003 DVD is at K-Mart/Big W but I buy everything from a great bookshop in Parramatta "The Wheels Bookshop "
