It gets quicker in the 2nd practice...which unfolded towards the end of the session like the old style hour long qualifying sessions of old lament! I was pleased to see Davidson match both his race driver team-mates whilst on long tyre runs, despite never having driven the circuit ever before. A fine swansong for AD with only one crash in the whole season (Canada) Thats 36 hours of practice in total, thats very low crash damage by any drivers standards on 11 circuits he had never driven on before.

Impressive stuff as ever.......

I'm hoping for something special from Montoya this weekend and I reckon he'll give Williams a goodby pressie.

I know.....this statement will blow up in my face come Sunday evening!

3/10 off his teammate, and how many testing laps has he done in the car this year? I am a little surprised Alonso is not further ahead.

What is really interesting is how much faster the track was in the second session.(except for the Williams which only picked up a few tenths)

i can't believe how fast everyonr was going. what is it, over 2 seconds faster than last year. although there has been 18 months since last years race, as opposed to a year.

Once again, not much to contribute, huh Raul.

I agree with 006_007, however it's only practice and who knows what teams were testing at any given time. Ferrari once again seems to be able to turn it on at will and they'll be difficult to beat.
