Well, at Oulton Park just gone, Promatecme, now minus Michael Keohane (bored) and Ernani Judice (skint)had Can Artram in Christian England's scholarship car, and Fairuz Fauzy in the Championship class machine.
Fairuz has joined after quitting SYR along with his brother Farriz Fauzy. SYR replaced these 2 with Katherine Legge and Jesper Carlsen, although last week's AUTOSPORT says they're likely to have Henrique Favoretto and Masato Shimoyama in the cars for Rockingham. BRDC Single seater racer Matt Nicholl-Jones has also been linked. If rumors are to be believed, Robert Dahlgern will be out of Fortec after Rockingham, as he's apparently got no money (shame I know), so there could be a seat there. Also, Diamond Racing have a Ralt for anyone with the cash, and the same goes for the Dallaras of scholarship teams Meritus and Essencial Motorsport. On the up side, it looks as though ex-Sweeny driver Adam Carroll's excellent recent form has won him enough backers to complete the year with Menu. |

SYR could have 4 cars at Rockingham as they will be running the Brit in a Scholarship car.
Fred Goddard Racing also have two Scholarship cars ready with Renault engines. Hopefully someone will give Piers a call and they'll be running before the Winter Series. ;-) |

Seemed to me it was just a jaunt for her, so it must have been either free or very very cheap. Or she's loaded and fancied a track day in an F3 |

syr are testing carlsen again today (another last minute agreement i understand), and i doubt very much money's changed hands for that.
what are syr up to? touting for business? did they charge their malaysian drivers that much that they can afford to test random people in a bit to be more credible? |

They could be apologising for Jesper's problem in race 2 where he went a grand total of 20yds... being pushed by marshals off the grid!
If the team has any business sense they would have planned for a few lean years at startup. Bringing in drivers of Jesper's quality should help raise their performance and profile. |
