FIA F1 Fan Survey
http://www.fia-amd-survey2005.com/
Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I looked around here and couldn't see it. Anyway, the FIA is doing a survey to see what the fans think... |

Be prepared to reload the surver several times for you to be able to complete it.
In my opinion, it is a waste of time, most of the questions are stupid, and there are a limited choice of answers... DKGandBH |

I was going to find the old(ish) thread on this to post a reminder that today is the last day to, er, 'vote'. I don't think it is voting, I personally hope that the FIA takes it on board, but doesn't blindly act on the results.
BTW I went on a filled it in first time and it was very quick! |

I got on straight away when i did it, but I feel this is merely a political exercise for the FIA to use later on. Lies, damned lies and statistics, etc. They'll get much more support for whatever hare-brained rule changes they want to introduce next if they can show they have the support of the fans.
I did, however, take the opportunity to point out that the race commentary is what spoils F1 for me. |

I did it when it was launched, but I don't think it was very good survey.
The worst thing is that there were no open questions. |

If you are going to get over 80,000 replies then it is difficult to collate all those open ended questions. One comments box might have been an idea. If only to give an idea if that person's views are considered or not.

if anyone from the uk answered the question about what % of races they watch, anyone who said 100% was lying! they only show about 80% after you've taken out all the adverts! now they are what really bugs me

I don't think they meant what percentage of the race itself do you watch - how many races in the year do you watch?

They do ask how many gp's you watched AND how much of every race you watch in percentages.
They even give the same answer twice for one question, something about F1 making road cars safer, with in adittion to those two an option about f1 making roadcars more efficient, blablabla, and so on... |

I tried accessing it for a couple of days but the server busy sign kept coming up.....
and most of the ten-tenthers didnt rate the questions so i've not bothered.... however you'd think with the popularity of f1 they'd have a larger server.... |

I found it reasonably quick on my trusty old dial up connection. Completed it, but some of the questions were put together by people who have had brain amputations it seems.

Some of the questions asked were of a slightly obvoius nature;
"would you like more overtaking?" Its like asking someone... "would you like a more intense orgasm?" |

Well, I'd be quite happy with 2005 spec races. It's been nigh on perfect. Get rid of refuelling, get rid of TC and keep downforce levels in check and things should remain excellent. |

ralf fan, that would be nice. Even better would be two one hour free for alls.
Aside from the racing you would then have to abolish these stupid engine endurance rules. |
