Marshal's BBQ: Anglesey 750MC
Hi All,
Just in case you don't get the message by other means, the RGB formula is hosting its annual Marshal's BBQ at Anglesey this coming Saturday. It'll be over in the RGB area which is near the viewing area between turn 1 and 2. (See the finals here: http://www.750mc.co.uk/ugc-1/1/28/0/...-_anglesey.pdf.) The intention is to start as soon as we can after the racing is finished. Free to marshals, even freeer to anyone who turns up in fancy dress... Tim |

Thanks, Tim. It's gestures like this that make marshalling for 750 so rewarding. Look forward to meeting some of you there.

A big thankyou to the RGB guys for this generous offer, it was much appreciated and the food was excellent.
I got laughed at because I suggested leaving a little bit of room for 'dessert' as there's nothing worse than having that last hot dog, only to find another course arrives. So, guess who laughed loudest, as I tucked in to an excellent banoffee tart An excellent weekend in North Wales -who'd have swapped yesterdays weather? The only downside was the loooooooong drive home. See y'll next year! |

Oh, and what's the verdict on the whiskey cider? I heard none of the drivers would touch it, but I know a couple of marshals who were enjoying a bottle or two.

The cider was excellent. Don't know what the strength actually was (story seemed to be anything over 12%) but it tasted beautiful. Can't understand why the drivers are so reluctant to try it. It must have been good. Don Hall managed to borrow the brewer's car and wife! Can't keep these octogenarians down.
