What happened in Bahrain?

Congratulations to last year's championship contender TrapezeArtist for shooting straight into the lead of this year's battle. There's a long, long way to go for everyone, so you should all stick at it.

As befits a race which many saw as unpredictable going into the weekend, the maximum number of exact top 10 predictions was 2, achieved by 4 of the fourteen entrants, including the round winner and series returnee Beau2.

TrapezeArtist had the highest number of top 10 finishers, with 8 out of 10 correct (rightly not including Verstappen, but putting Pérez and Gasly in there).

The least predicted real top 10 finisher was Guanyu Shou, picked by nobody, while the most predicted errenous one was Pérez, chosen by all 14.

The top three in qualifying was predicted correctly by 3 people. 15 qualifying positions were predicted exactly out of the 42 possibile ones.

Leclerc was rightly elected as Driver of the Day by 4 out of 14 and as Driver of the Grand Prix by 4 too.

Ferrari was selected as Team of the Grand Prix by 7 out of 14.

Using both the mode and the mean for the first time as the Rate the Grand Prix score, the mode was both 7 and 8, and the mean 6.55 (duly rounded up to 7).

8 out of 14 managed to get the score right for Rate the Grand Prix, most opting for 7.

Nobody saw McLaren's fastest pit stop coming, and only chunterer and Beau2 plumped for Leclerc for the win. Only steve_r had him down for Fastest Lap.

Everyone got that it would be a dry race - that was the easiest thing to predict.
