Driver of the race on Sunday was Marc Gene. The performance he put in was simply stunning, and despite not scoring, it was the best of his career. To keep pace with JV, Button, Salo and Herbert for the entire race, to lap his teammate, beat Ralf, Wurz and Diniz, AND nearly score a point, shows he put in quite a drive.
All I can say is WELL DONE MAN!!! |

I'd pick Gene, if he keeps performing as he has, to be snatched up by one of the teams up the grid. He's really showing some talent wiht what he has to work with in the Minardi, and I'm sure people are taking notice.

Driver of the race on Sunday was definitely NOT Gene.
It was Pedro de la Rosa! |

Pedro was my second choice, other Pedro my third.
Yeah yeah, so De La Rosa was great, but that Arrows has so much more power than the Minardi. Therefore Gene drove the best race. HURRAH! Guaranteed he will be snapped up by another team when his Minardi contract runs out at the end of 2003. |

There were a lot of good drives in that race - but yes Mr. Gene did a standout job and is deserving of praise.

I think both of them, PdlR and Marc Gené are showing us they are not only paying drivers, but they are truly and deservedly F1 drivers.

Well the stars of the race were JV's pit crew. But Gene was definately one of the best drivers.
Gee, maybe he will move up the grid and drive for Prost next year. |
