Movie File: Lap of Hallet Oklahoma in Austin Healey 100/6

One lap movie file of the 1.7 mile road course just west of Tulsa in the rolling Osage Hills of Northeast Oklahoma. This is the opening lap of a race in which the two AH 100/6s dominated. Leading is the 1962 100/6 of Fred Crowley. The video rig is setup in R.J. Biever's 1958 100/6 with hard top. These cars are quick and handled great. Love that exhaust note too.

BTW, that is me in standing under the flag stand snapping photos of the cars as they roared past.

KC, that was fun wasn't it? Waited to download it at work so it wasn't too long a wait.
Yup, gotta agree with you with the engine sounds, plus the downshifts-I love hearing properly done blipping.

If you ever have access to other stuff like this, don't be shy...
There are a couple of 3000's I used to see once in awhile during the summer here in Montreal, and it was always nice to hear the great sound of an in-line six coming on song.
