Far, far too early to tell if JP and his team are doing a good job. I don't buy into the view that we have to worship them for ever more because they have 'saved' the circuits but I do think it is fair to allow them a decent period of time before we start judging them for the way that they run their circuits. Now is not yet that time.

You can see that what they have done so far is for the better!!! JP is a winner and he will make it work, but some people will not like some of his new ways but hey thats life in the fast lane

This particular point has been discussed to death - but I don't think reducing the amount of free tickets for competitors will really save all that much money - certainly not in terms of printing costs. And the drivers/teams will just bring along one or two less people, rather than pay for them to get in.
Plus, there's the food/drink that the extra person might have bought while they were there, or encouraged their friends to come along. It seems there's an awful lot to lose by cutting back on 'freebies', and not much to gain. |

I agree with Craig and Comtech on this one, it's far too early to judge the performance. However, there are noticeable improvements to facilities for both competitors and spectators. JP has promised to undertake work to improve marshals facilities as well so we need to give him time to get things in order, after all, Rome wasn't built in a day!

I know that Martyn Smith who is running Brands now will be doing a great job, he really does put a lot of effort into all the work he does because he treats it like his own business. I think anyone who has had their own business before really knows how and why you need to be there 14hours a day to make the business a success.
