Was it JM Fangio II or JM Fangio III who raced in F3000?
I have looked about but the info seems to contradict itself. I am assuming that one or the other is a typo and only one of them drove. To be honest I have never heard of Fangio III. |

I'm sure it was no. 2, who then went on to drive for Toyota in IMSA GTP racing, and briefly in Indycars. I believe he has a son who's no. 3, but is currently a little young to have raced F3000.

Forix is the only site which refers to III.
All the others refer to II. Unfortunately, there is no driver info in the F3000 section in Forix, otherwise it would have been really easy to check. |

II or III? Whatever, it's the same guy. Trust me. He even tested an F1 car for Osella, back in the days...
