Alternate (Winter) Series
Finally, not really another F1 but I hope it gets off the ground, for many reasons. I'm sure we'll hear much about it in the months to come; I do like this mission quote found on Totalf1 .....
"We are re-emphasising the skill of the driver and the ability of the team to get the best out of the car on the given day and the given track. It gives the opportunity to countries like India, Pakistan, Africa, Malaysia and Lebanon to compete on a level playing field against Europe." Last edited by Kirk; 30 Sep 2004 at 14:18. |

Let's hope that A1 Grand Prix can be some (if meagre) replacement for the lamented Tasman Cup.

A1 GP could be a good concept and it doesn't seem to be impinging on existing series.
It's being dicussed more fully on a thread over on the NISS forum. |

Maybe Damien Faulkner could represent Ireland on A1 GP races?
What he is up to these days? His homepages haven't been updated since 2002? Last edited by 429CJ; 1 Oct 2004 at 17:39. |
