New BMW ETCC car

What does everyone think of the Schnitzer car on the ETCC official site? It looks pretty good.

It is great. I am an Alfa guy, but the BMW looks wonderful.

They could probably change the wheels, and add a colour band around the bottom of the car - a la STW 1998.

I wonder what the other BMWs will look like?

Since we're on that topic, what is the official website of the '02 ETCC?

Nice paint scheme, maybe one of the BMW's will use the colour scheme used in the eighties.

I'm not sure about the front wing though, looks like it is too big for the front of the car.

Thanks, I checked out the site. The BMW's front splitter looks quite stock to me, only a little chunkier (fatter) than stock? The Volvo S60's front splitter looks more racier. However, I still don't like the rear wings. They look like heavily deformed GT1 spoilers??

It is a bit of a worry how far ahead Al;fa are . Hopefully the reverse top six in the second races will even things up.

I think it will be important for teams to use dark paint to cover up the heavy front BMW spoiler. ie. CIBiEmme 1996 - 2000 Castrol scheme.

The only colour scheme from the Super Production BMWs in 2001 that I liked were the Carly cars at Estoril or Jarama - in the Marlboro colours. And Peggen Anderson's car. It looked good.

The Schnitzer design needs refinelment. It should be like the see through engine of the 635Csi and Perrsson DTM Mercs.
