Just heard this one, not sure of the circumstances but JB has signed for Williams for 2005 2006, I’m sure more news will follow..

Just had an Orange text message saying he has signed for Williams for 2005! What the hell has he done that for?? Isn't BAR doing WAAAY better than Williams this year?

I'm baffled. And a little dismayed.

And confused, why would he want to be 50/50 with Webber over being #1 at BAR?

The only conclusion I can come to is loyalty, Williams gave him his break, they probably asked and he couldn't say no..

Wow! I thought JB would stick at BAR for a few more seasons. DR and Honda must be gutted I assume. I really hope this is a good move for him, but pertsonally I have enjoyed watching team and driver grow this year, and would have liked this to continue throughout 2005. Still, I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Davidson for BAR I hope...

Oh my god! Obviously he had his reasons but I can't see the logic leaving BAR when there doing so well and just keep going up, while Williams seems like it might be on the way down?

Thats mega, mad, crazy news! Who in their right mind expected this! I can't believe it! I keep reading it again thinking I must be seeing things!!

What's everyone reckon then? Its a line up and a half that aint it, Webber and Button? And now surely it means Anthony Davidson will slot in as a more than equal replacement for Jense at BAR....

It's a move "home" for Jenson.

And while Williams is having a bad year now, history shows, like McLaren, they are a bloody good team to drive for.

This will be a great line up for Williams - spurring each other on.

Hopefully David Richards will now promote Anthony to the race seat David has said he deserves so many times.

As have most rumours. I don't think this has been anywhere near a serious rumour since the early part of the season. Dave Richards pretty much stamped it out!

Maybe Trulli to BAR wasn't so far fetched. And neither is DC to Toyota. We just don't know anything now...
