Lindsay P1?
Where is it, what's happening with it. Last i saw it was at Goodwood last year. They said that they'd go to Le Mans in 01, but they never made it. Now i've heard that it might be going to Le Mans this year.

I'm sure I did see a pic - or was it an artists impression? Certainly heard nothing of it for quite a long time.

the car went to le mans last year for the ACO homologation... they got it but they didn't run the car at sebring that's why you've never seen it on le mans' trac
The car won't be at sebring this year so it won"t be at le mans..we can consider that the project is dead |

I think from memory the car was built and I think there was a photo floting around of it parked on the pit straight at Le Mans, I also think that James Weaver drove the car.

Photos of unraced cars such as the Porsche LMP or windtunell models like the Prost AP05 are hard to come by, but I like seeing them as they give you an indication of what might have been had certain pieces fallen into shape.

The car looked quite neat really when i saw it. There would have been a few issues, but it looked sound enough

There were only wind tunnel models and some parts, not an actual car. I believe Atlas F1 has a thread in their nostolgia fourm that mentions it with pics, you might want to check it out.

Silly that cars like the Lindsay and Snobeck get built but never race. I wish I had that kind of money to **** away..

When completed, im building a car, and I doubt it will ever have the funds to race. Building an inovative, unique complete car, whether it races or not is an excelent way to display ones capabilities(engineering, design, etc), even if strapped by fund and unable to race, it still dispays talents.
