Spa & Nurburgring 24 Hours classes?
Was just wondering what the classes for the above races are. Are Super Touring cars legal?

That's right Spa is purely for GT cars now but Nurburgring caters for just about any saloon car as well as GT cars. There are classes for non homologated cars as well so it effectivly rules out single seaters and prototypes but pretty much anything goes. And 210 cars on the grid is just fantastic!

Yeah racerguy's dates are correct, there are a lot of support races including a 500 km historic race! Something like 800 race cars there over the entire event. The 24 hr qualifying is Friday , race starts on Saturday afternoon.

The Spa 24 hours is on 3-4 August, quite a neat programme supporting the GT race with the ETCC, the Renault Clio Belux Cup, the Renault F2000 eurocup and the Renault Maxi Clio cup.

The star V8 series is also on the support list. I will be taking part in the 500 kms youngtimer historic saloon event with Dave Thomas in his Ford Capri.

I'll look out for you Rod, I'm doing the 24hr in a Caterham! I think the V8 Stars might be using the full circuit this year, last year they only used the GP circuit.
