TUSC Round 2: The Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring
The 12 hours kicks off in 2 weeks. This year will be the first to see DP's grace the old airfield, and features a bumper crop of cars. GTD is the largest in terms of grid numbers, and a lot of how the race flows is going to depend on how the other classes navigate through these cars.

Good stuff, joeb. Maybe we'll be able to focus on this for a bit. Hoping I'll be able to make it south to see this one in person.

This one's going to be a real cracker. Wouldn't be surprised to see a much closer battle between P2 and DPs, hence the test results.
Also, I'm expecting there will be a fairly large 10 Tenths meeting? I'd love to meet some of you guys in person. Go Viper! |

When clicking on the "Schedule" tab, it shows the 2013 Testing Schedule from last November!

Thanks for opening this. Hopefully the arguments on the other thread dont filter here. Hoping for a close(r) race in both pro classes.

If we're talking about Gidley, there's no need for a replacement driver: Gainsco withdrew from the NAEC a week or two ago because they couldn't get a replacement car in time for Sebring.

Please everyone keep out the usual often repeated ranting and arguing out of this thread. Comments about the state of US sportscar series, how the cars aren't what you like, or how you are much cleverer you are than the series organisers are for other threads. This thread is about the race. This is to promote discussion not stop it. There is already a thread, or even threads, for discussing the other stuff. This is for the race discussion. Obviously there is a cross over between race and general series discussion, but, unless you are of low intelligence, you will be able to see when it has gone too far. Or perhaps you are so selfish that you can't be bother to make a couple of extra clicks to post your general observation in the general thread and you'd rather side track the race thread and ruin it for those wanting to discuss racing. Either way it won't be tolerated. I'm sorry for having to post this, but we all know it is needed. |

Hall pass received. Work has been notified. Spring coming a little early for me.
If the race is awful, Green Park should be a good distraction. |

Race comes on the weekend spring break starts for me, which is awfully convenient.
I'll be leaving early Thursday afternoon after my last class, hopefully rolling in super early Friday morning with time enough to get a few winks of sleep before heading down to the paddocks for the final practice runs. Camping is the only way to roll here, right? My old man is taking some convincing, but I'm game for it Any tips for your first time at Sebring would be appreciated! |

Be prepared for madness in Green Park, the FLA heat in March and random couches on fire.
Someone should start a Trackside thread. Good idea: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...77#post3375177 Ask any questions you have there. I've been about 4 times, I think....I can jog my memory with specific questions. |
