does anyone get sponsorship in karting can not imagine its easy to get but race winners would need some sort of funds the average person couldn,t afford a race winning budget ,did any one try to get it and suceed?

I got 3 sponsors. The good thing is (without sounding too big headed) im reguarly on the podium, from club, to reginal to even national meetings. And that fact alone gets you your sponsors. As we found out people are alot more willing to sponsor you when you are on the podium as they get advertising, from pictures in magazines or on websites.

But when i was starting and sitting in the middle of the grid, we found it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get sponsors even though we would send out, about 50 a season. Very second we added snippets from magazines, of me on the podium etc. 3 accpeted and we have a couple more for this season.

It depends what you mean by sponsorship. There are many teams/drivers out there that get goods in kind, which is sponsorship of a sort. Those that actually give hard cash though, seem to be few and far between.
