WHT video

Has anyone else been asked to buy a video of the WHT? If so have you bought one and what is it like?

Is it worth the £29.99?

Regards

RR

As a fan I would like one, but that's a pretty hefty price tag? How long is it, and is it "fan friendly" or only really for those that took part?

I'll probably put up something later (Chris had an email from the guy) but I would actually prefer that we were doing this in return for a donation to the site or sponsorship.

JEB has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The 2003 video was pretty good.
I will review it if you like - didn't ever have time to watch the meeting !
Organising takes all day....Anyone know who has qualified for the sixth round consolation race yet ?

Web site looks ok. Anybody seen the dvd yet. I will certainly buy one if it looks ok. It looks like you get all you races on DVD for £24.99 which i guess is ok if its good. Look forward to hearing reviews.

I have ordered one and Graham has advised it will be despatched early next week. I'll let you know once I've got it and had a chance to watch it.

Bags I first loan thereof Mike?
I can collect it at Anglesey in a couple of weeks - assuming you have watched it by then - and mail it back to you afterwards.

Cheeky Scouser, or what?

Don't know Ray. I've got two slots I can slip things in [Ooh er missus - sorry swift] one marked CD and one marked DVD, but wouldn't have a clue what to do with them.
I had to be told how to use my computer.
1. Switch it on
2. Double click on a little blue thingy called Internet Explorer
3. When the screen changes to click on Favourites and click on something called ten-tenths. This would let me 'talk' to motor racing people. I keep turning the volume up, but nobody can hear me.

The bloke who sold it me promised endless hours of fun watching mucky stuff from somewhere called Cyberspace, but I can't find it and Cyberspace don't appear to have a shop in my area. I believe you can get this smut on DVD, hence my interest in this WHT DVD.
BTW what is WHT? Is it dangerous and can you catch anything?

Just received my copy and I'm not pleased with it.

Reminiscent of a 1980's wedding video.

I can't get it to play on my DVD player so forced to watch it on my PC.

Camera positioning Poor (furthermost point at the Complex), zooms in too close to individual cars so misses the race action.

Commentary not informative about the race, mentions the name of the car in shot.

Should have used the commentary that was being piped around the circuit.

Overall score out of 10? = 2
Not worth the money being asked, and I paid for.

Prompt delivery though.

I have to say the OP one was very poor. So I did think it would be the same for the WHT.

Rumour has it that the WHT may well be televised next year. Lets hope so.

You should have got the one of Phil's son.

That's a good one.

I bought the "VFS video"- DVD of my races at Silverstone (July 31st 2004).

Commentary poor....Names the driver and the make and model of the car.

No decent action shots other than me taking two lads in the complex at the
end of the race. For that I feel it was worth the money

Sorry to the two Silverstone regulars I passed

I hope the WHT is televised next year, is James Beckett trying to make that happen?

Ahhhh.....it's good to be back. (anyone got a car that needs a driver at Anglesey tomorrow?)
