Interesting article
Saw this on sportsshooter.com, about working at the Indy 500.
http://www.sportsshooter.com/news/1610 Certainly a bit different to how I've worked in the past... usually 3/4 people at most, and not as strict as that so far as who stands where etc. |

For such big events it seem a logical way or working, almost miltary precision, then one or more photographer can catch the action of each and every lap.
I alway thought it strange, when at BTCC events, a few yeras ago, why photographers from the same agency went aoround in pairs of even in threes, and then proceded to set up position next to one another. The must have all got very similar photos? |

Happens all the time Kelvin. Even on occasions when I have worked with other photographers and we have decided between us which parts of the circuit to cover, someone "forgets" and you finish up with 2 at the same corner.

A good read ! thanks for that , I particulary liked the sentiment of his last sentence , esp when I saw the emotion of the event conveyed in his images.
