Monty/Yellow Flags: What would you do?
What this poll asks is what you would do about Montoya in regards to that waved yellow flag situation if you were the stewards.

Mwahhahahaha!
Make him start last! No, no, disqualify him for the rest of the season and ask him not to come back and let Kimi show everyone how it's done |

Yea - he should keep the lap - even if he did not lift & all the other drivers did he is still way ahead in terms of time - the others have no argument!!

Even with his best time forfeited, JPM would start 2nd...
But i guess the most logical thing to do is to look at JPM's data, and see if JPM lifted at that point or go flat out. If he took the yellow flat, than fairly speaking, his best time have to be removed. But personally...i hope he retains his first... |

Yeah but hang on... everyone is going on about Montoya loosing his pole time cus he set a time whilst a yellow flag was out, but what about the other 4 or 5 drivers that set faster times? - Like RS, MS, Frentzen etc?

Big deal. You let him keep the lap. Perhaps give him a warning or a fine of some sort or nothing.

But as his time hasn't been taken away yet, I assume he didn't improve his sector time, so he has to keep his pole position. |

I would take that time away - I was pretty sure, from what I could see (and with it being an overhead shot it was about as reliable as it was going to get without seeing his telemetry) that he didn't lift when he passed Heidfeld's car.
