what i was planning to do was to create one fantasy challenge, and it will consist of the following races:
Sebring All 5 LMES Races 24hrs of Le Mans 24hrs of Spa Petit Le Mans ALMS Laguna Seca so it would be 3 ALMS races. (10 races in total for the fantasy challenge) i dont have the time to do a full alms league. if someone else wants to, i can set them up with the excel sheets, and the rules, etc.. |

We're doing a fantasy "World Sportscar Championship" at the forums of motorsport dot com. It includes four rounds of the ALMS, two from LMES, Le Mans, and Spa 24 hrs. Sebring will be posted this friday.

wow it would be great, i really like the idea of 19dodge, less races but all with a very very strong entrylist, like the LMES

Well for anyone who's remotely interested i've been "running" my own little fantasy championship. It's roughly similar to my post in the "thoughts on the world championship idea" thread a while backworld championship . I've made a few amendments- because some of the events on my list don't exist, but i've kept it as similar as i can. I've seperate tables for cars and drivers, and they look like this:
drivers- rank- driver- points total 1 Butch Leitzinger 720 2 Johnny Herbert 660 3 Pierre Kaffer 560 4 J.J. Lehto 520 5 Marco Werner 520 6 Chris Dyson 417 7 Andy Wallace 407 8 James Weaver 400 9 Romain Dumas 395 10 Emmanuel Collard 368 11 Oliver Gavin 368 12 Sascha Maassen 360 13 Mika Salo 360 14 Jorg Bergmeister 358 15 Olivier Beretta 340 16 Timo Bernhard 330 17 Max Papis 328 18 Johnny O'Connell 320 19 Ron Fellows 320 20 Enzo Calderari 320 21 Lilian Bryner 320 22 Matteo Bobbi 320 23 Angelelli 320 24 Forbes-Robinson 320 25 Taylor 320 26 Robin Liddell 313 27 Fabrizio Gollin 300 28 Lucas Luhr 292 29 Seiji Ara 280 30 Jan Lammers 280 31 Jan Magnussen 280 32 Scott Pruett 280 33 Marc Lieb 270 34 Clint Field 260 35 Fabrizio de Simone 260 36 Patrick Long 250 37 Philipp Peter 250 38 Fabio Babini 248 39 Cort Wagner 246 40 Darren Manning 230 41 Scott Dixon 230 42 Darren Law 228 43 Gabriele Gardel 220 44 David Brabham 205 45 Christophe Bouchut204 46 Allan McNish 200 47 Luca Cappellari 200 48 Andrea Bertolini 200 49 Alan Simonsen 200 50 Benoit Treluyer 200 and cars: rank- car- total 1 Champion ADT Audi R8 No.38 553 2 Dyson Lola EX-257 AER/MG No.16 424 3 Champion ADT Audi R8 No.2 367 4 Pratt & Millar Compuware Chevrolet Corvette C5R No.4 346 5 SunTrust Pontiac Riley No.10 328 6 Pratt & Millar Compuware Chevrolet Corvette C5R No.3 323 7 Boss Snowplough Pontiac-Crawford No.4 320 8 Dyson Lola EX-257 AER/MG No.20 289 9 Ganassi Lexus Riley No.01 288 10 Lola B2K/40-Judd No.30 269 11 BMS Ferrari 550M No.2 248 12 GPC Giesse Ferrari 575M No.11 230 13 BMS Ferrari 550M No.1 225 14 McKenna Mail2Web Porsche GT3RSR No.23 216 15 Ganassi Lexus Riley No.02 210 16 Veloqx Audi R8 No.8 209 17 Calsonic Impul Nissan Fairlady Z No.12 208 18 AF Corse Maserati MC12 No.33 203 19 Cooper's Ferrari 550 200 20 Acemco Saleen S7R No.63 186 21 Team Goh Audi R8 No.5 160 22 AF Corse Maserati MC12 No.34 160 23 Woodone Tom's Toyota Supra No.36 160 24 Larbre Chrysler Viper 160 25 McKenna Mail2Web Porsche GT3RSR No.24 158 26 Petersen White Lightning Porsche GT3RSR No.31 155 27 Flying Lizards Porsche GT3RSR No.45 155 28 Friesinger Yukos Porsche GT3RSR No.50 153 29 Risi Ferrari 360 Modena GTC No.35 150 30 Friesinger Yukos Porsche GT3RSR No.99 150 31 G'ZOX SSR Hasemi Nissan Fairlady Z No.3 140 32 Veloqx Audi R8 No.88 140 33 Ganassi Lexus Riley No.8 140 34 Boss Citgo Pontiac-Crawford No.20 140 35 DDO Saleen S7R 140 36 Zytek DBA Zytek No.22 133 37 JMB Ferrari 575M No.17 128 38 Farnbacher Porsche GT3RSR No.81 124 39 Racer's Group Porsche GT3RSR No.66 122 40 Friesinger Yukos Porsche GT3RSR No.77 122 41 Care Racing Development Ferrari 550M No.3 120 42 au Cerumo Toyota Supra No.38 120 43 Speedworx Stealth B6 120 44 Force One Chrysler Viper GTS No.32 114 45 Belgian Racing Vertigo Streiff No.100 110 46 GPC Giesse Ferrari 575M No.13 108 47 Nasamax Nasamax Judd No.14 100 48 Lista Lexus-Doran No.27 100 events contested so far: silverstone 1000 (LMES) Spa 24 hours (FIAGT/Belcar) Suzuka JGTC Zhuhai FIAGT Mosport ALMS Petit Le Mans Laguna Seca ALMS Grand-Am Fontana GT Festival bahrain Daytona 24 hours Still to come: Sebring 12 hours Nurburgring 24 hours Spa 1000 Super GT Fuji Le Mans, the finale. |
