Great F1 moments on video

The title is self-explanatory. I don't know if it is a suitable subject for this forum, but I'll give it a go and if it's deemed inappropriate the Mods can delete it.

I was prompted by seeing this one, courtesy of Karun Chandhok:

Surprised that hasn't been deleted by the F1 police.

Turns out there are loads still up. Have another great moment.

No-one could ever accuse Mansell of being short on the bravery front.

I remember going to that race. That was the last time the British GP was held at Brands; a real shame.

True, but when you see that they were lapping the circuit in 67 seconds back then, what the lap times be now?

Meanwhile, here's another one of Senna, this time from Adelaide. Good to see that track again, too. The races from there always seemed to be well worth watching to me.

Ah! You beat me to it!

Always liked this one for shear commitment:

One You Tube comment summed it up nicely: "someone should tell him that the track is wet:P"

What a great race and brave drivers. Trees and posts at the edge of the track. Loose dogs running around. Mad, but exhilarating.

I've seen this before of course but it's always worth another watch, great video. It makes me smile that we have such such wranglings these days over 'track limits'. Go out of track limits at Spa in 1955 and your life expectancy would suddenly be greatly reduced.......

It seems you've recently watched it. Which clips this video had? At the moment it seems the channel has been suspended.

Works fine here too. May be if you've an add blocker you can either cancel it or change for anothe browser. At the very beginning you'll see what Stavelot was and still can be visited (it was not a permanent track then).

Really Spa was not for the faint hearted in those days. Like most other circuits then, but moreso. Really were in the lap of the gods back then

Great moments on video, the top one has to be Patrick in glacial wet conditions at Montreal in about 78/9 in the Tyrrell, a guy in his element driving for pure pleasure, magnificent, oh what F1 could be again. There is also one of him from Long Beach which is very good.

Some great onboard channels on YT now, a truly enlightening one was Mexico again in I think 89, there are two from the same race, Alboreto in an Arrows and Capelli in a March, the difference is stark!!!
