I need some racing info and help Please!
So long story short, I'm a mini-sprint racer and I've been thinking about the future and I think I might, in a couple of years, switch to Formula F(ord). I was wondering if any of you could help me with some questions I have? 1. What would be an average price of a Formula F(ord) car? (I mean just the running car that I could crank up and drive, no extras) 2. Besides spares, what extras to I HAVE to have? (Luxury items are a bit too far, what do I need to get it running and stay running, what specific stuff would I need that I don't already have for a mini-sprint; funnels, hand tools, etc.?) 3. I live in Metro-Atlanta, how would I get my most bang for my buck racing wise? (I don't wanna just race club and just "have fun" I'm a serious racer and I wouldn't mind positioning myself to move up, I'm 24 and no millionaire so I'm not think of IndyCar, but maybe USF2000 or just something to that affect.) |

Go up to Road Atlanta the next SCCA event and ask those
questions in the paddock. I am sure you will get all answered with in a few minutes. You may even find a good deal on a FF or FV. |
