Mallock U2

I'm just about to take over a rebuild project of a Mallock U2 Mk9 FF1600.

Just looking for any help and tips from anyone who may have built up one or something similar.

All help will be greatfully received.

Elton, contact Richard Mallock, he probably knows that car already and should be able to help. Ray if he has time might be worth talking to. Paul, that was a shameless plug!!!...........

Are we to understand that "scoop" is in fact Paul Lawrence? If so congrats on the Royale book as well Paul, both it and the Mallock one make for great reading. Not just for the info on these marques, but on the whole 70s/80s/90s UK club racing scene. There must be more similar books out there to be done, anything forthcoming ???

Pink Panther should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I construct and drive both Classic Clubmans cars and Classic FF1600 cars. The classic Clubmans is the Famous Gryphon Pink Panther. It is similar to a Mallock. If you need any assistance or advise I would be pleased to help if I can.

Send me a PM with details, where you are in the country and what plans you have once completed.

I also agreed contact Mallock's as well I am sure they would be delighted to see a Front engined FF in circulation as well. I know as a Classic Formula Ford driver it would be great to have a U2 on the grid. Driven well it could also spring the odd surprise!!
