Chevron B7?
I have a formula car from the 60's or 70's that was raced in the SCCA as a Chevron. The car looks similar to other Chevrons I have seen like the B18 and B20 but has a regular space frame without the stressed panels and is a bit larger but only slightly. It has the same "hawk" nose and the roll bar and bracing is also similar to the Chevrons I have seen. Another hint is the brake and clutch petal assembly has the English Ford logo cast into it so it looks like it is a modified piece from an Anglia or some other British Ford. Any help in identiflying this racecar would be appreciated.

Welcome, Deaninkc. I think this may do better in attracting attention in the main historic forum, initially, so I'm moving it there!

Dean,
If you can post some pictures etc. I will help a lot. Just about every race car built in the 60's and 70's used those Ford Anglia pedal / master cylinder bracket units. They are on my BT35 Brabham. |
