Fisichella Fights Back

Today During Qualifying, Fisi was piped to the post by Villeneuve.

But instead of taking it, he walked down the pit lane to Bmws garage were he tried to attack Villeneuve.

I don't think this is approprite behaviour for a driver who has so much on his shoulder this season. This surly gives a bad impression

Apparently he was blocked by JV on his quick lap,so maybe he has a right to be angry.

I understand he must be angry, for that happining but unfortunatly thats all part of the game.

The red flag caused Klein to be out, but he walked away gracefully...

That's my word Jeremy!

He wasn't really blocked first and foremost, Villeneuve was practically half a lap ahead.

And secondly, blocked or not, he didn't have to storm down the pitlane like the proverbial rock-ape and have a hissy fit in full view of the world. I bet JV was loving it!

To be fair, Klien could hardly have stormed up to race control, or whoevers mistake it was, to "do a Fisi".

Well he could have you never know lol.

Fisi may start a trend, they could have a new section on the itv coverege called Fight it out in The Pit Lane.

And the line up could be

Alonso Vs Schumacher

Kimi Vs Button

Speed Vs Coulthard (or Everyone)

A pale imitation of Piquet/Salazar, Mansell/Senna, Schumacher/Coulthard, Senna/Irvine, Hunt/Marshals...

I though Martin B's comment was right - having taken all the trouble to walk right down there he could have done something worthwhile.

So in the end the trantrum was like the driving performance this year - the potential for something notable - but in the end just a lot of hot air.

No.....if that was the case, Kimi would have been crippled financially last season.

To be fair he didn't try to attack him, he just went and told him a couple of things, not very nice obviously. But *attack* him??

Looked like JV was really scared and concerned. I trust he doesn't have a sleepless night in the camper van this evening.

From the inboard camera it appeared that Fisi wasn't even close to JV. Could it be that Fisi was grandstanding in front of his own team, in light of his failure to be even close to FA (again)?

Seriously though.. I still think he's a great presence in the paddock, and I hope he can pull it together to save at least a little dignity. But I guess I was wrong all these years to believe in him
