Rml
So why has Ray Mallock gone all quiet all of a sudden? Blitzed the BTCC in 1999, was building rally cars for Vauxhall, won the GTS class of the ELMS, talked about reviving Ecurie Ecosse and then... well, now he's helping to run a GT Cup-class Lotus Exige in the British GT Championship. Seems a bit low-key. What gives?

RML are involved with Graham Nash's Saleen campaign - The Lotus exige effort is through Paul Whight the car's owner who also owns the Aston Martin AMR1 which was designed and built by - RML!

That Exige has a Honda engine, no? How come that's legal?

No Cybers the Honda engined car is the Team Wireless version (the blue car with white racing stripes raced by Patrick and Marc charlton) - It's legal because the car is built for road use as a conversion, an I gather sells in reasonable numbers too.

If Ray mallock is involved in Graham Nash Motorsport's effort then there's even less excuse for their poor showing. I mean, Thomas Erdos and Ni Amoirim aren't exactly slowcoaches.

Ah, well let's hope the partnership starts to come good. Spa win, perhaps?

RML are running both Deuce cars (Collins and Swan) in ASCAR. They have the resources/parts to run four cars as originally planned.
They're also involved with the Saleens in FIA GT and the Lotus in British GT. I'd say that was busy enough. ;-) |
