Down here they have been compulsory for about 18 months in all tin top circuit racers except for Historics. Originally there was a lot of whinging about them, but these days people seem to be pretty cool about them.
What are your thoughts? Do you have one on your car? |

Apart from a few confusing CAMS regs, window nets are a good thing. I can't remember the year, but in New Zealand, at the Wellington 500, Tony Longhurst had an accident into a wall and his head was out the window and actually hit the concrete wall. If you have ever seen the footage, you would want a net too.
